Basic instructions on adding a background image to your page
- Download the image to your computer
- For NN and MSIE: right-click on the image and select "Save Image
As"
For Mac: click on the image and hold down the mouse button.
For WebTV: click here for instructions. - Upload the image to your server (the same way in which you upload your html files)
- Add a reference to it in the BODY Tag of your web page like this: <BODY BACKGROUND="example1.gif">
- The image will then reproduce all over the page, creating a "background"
Downloading the background image
- Click on the thumbnail of the background image
- Right-click anywhere on the background of the preview page and select "Save Background As..."
- Go to the directory in which you want to save the background and specify a name (e.g. butterfly.gif)
- Click on "Save"
